Six S&T Fellows join DOST-PCHRD

The Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) welcomes six S&T Fellows who will participate in various R&D management-related activities such as program conceptualization and assessment, strategy and policy development, and monitoring and evaluation. 

During the  2nd day of the DOST-PCHRD 40th Anniversary Main Conference on 18 March 2022, DOST-PCHRD Executive Director Dr. Jaime C. Montoya proudly announced this initiative of the DOST Office of the Undersecretary for Research and Development which aims to strengthen the R&D capacity of the Department and its attached agencies through a pool of science experts and innovators called “S&T Fellows.”

The six S&T Fellows deployed in DOST-PCHRD are tasked to focus on specific health research priority areas, are as follows:

  1.   Dr. Aimee Yvonne Criselle Aman for OMIC Technologies for Health
  2.   Dr. Ma. Neda Catalma for Functional Foods, Nutrition, and Food Safety
  3.   Dr. Adam Christian Espiritu for Diagnostics
  4.   Dr. Phoebe Nicole Perez for Biomedical Devices and Engineering for Health
  5.   Dr. Albert Remus Rosana for Tuklas LunasTM
  6.   Dr. Ranhel De Roxas-Bernardino for Digital and Frontier Technologies for Health

 “We, at the DOST-PCHRD, will support you in your endeavors and we are looking forward to your success in the field,” said Dr. Montoya, as he welcomed the fellows to the Council.
