PCHRD, #HealthXPH, to hold 3rd Social Media and Healthcare Summit
CEBU CITY – The Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) has teamed up once again with #HealthXPH – a team of social media, emerging technologies, and healthcare advocates utilizing social media for healthcare promotion – to bring you the 3rd Philippine Healthcare and Social Media Summit on 25 April 2017 at the Marco Polo Hotel, Cebu City.
With the theme, “Social Media & Health Research: Connections that Matter,” this year’s summit will tackle different tracks linking healthcare and social media use, namely in 1) Establishing a Research Topic; 2) Ethical Issues of Using Data from Social Media; 3) Literature Review; 4) Tools for Social Network Analysis; 5) Using Social Media to Disseminate Research; and 6) Natural Language Processing and Big Data stirred by esteemed speakers in the fields of social media and health. The summit will also hold an oral research presentation featuring health researches related to and/or aided by social media.
Healthcare professionals from the academe and healthcare industry, patients and advocates, researchers, and students nationwide are expected to attend the social media summit.
