Philippines to host international convention for advancing access to health information, publication in Asia Pacific
The Asia Pacific Association of Medical Journal Editors (APAME) will conduct the APAME 2015 International Convention on 24 to 27 August 2015 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Hotel, Manila, Philippines.
With the theme, “Advancing Access to Health Information and Publication: Shifting Paradigms, Trends, and Innovations,” APAME 2015 will bring together the region’s medical journal , authors, researchers, librarians, and publishers to promote collaboration and exchange of information and knowledge among stakeholders to upgrade the quality of scholarly publications in medicine and the health sciences in the Asia Pacific Region.
Over 500 international participants are expected to attend the APAME 2015 Convention. Online registration is now open. Register to APAME 2015.
The APAME 2015 is hosted by the Philippine Association of Medical Journal Editors (PAMJE) with the APAME, Philippine Council for Health Research and Development of the Department of Science and Technology (PCHRD-DOST), the University of the Philippines Manila (UP Manila) in collaboration with the libraries of the World Health Organization South East Asia (WHO-SEARO) and Western Pacific Region Regional Offices (WHO-WPRO) and the Medical and Health Librarians Association of the Philippines (MAHLAP).
