Call for Proposals for Pharmaceutical Health Services Research
The Department of Health – Pharmaceutical Division has research topics under the Pharmaceutical Health Services Research (PHSR) Management which are open for selection of primary investigators. Below is the list of the studies:
1. Health Facility and Household Survey on Rational Use of Medicines
2. A Nationwide Assessment on the Knowledge, Attitude and Practices among Filipino Physicians on Ethical Relations with the Biopharmaceutical Sector
3. Screening of Antibiotic Residues and Identification of Antibiotic Resistant Microorganisms from Raw and Ready-to-Eat Meat in the Philippines
4. Effects of the Distribution of Product Samples and Discount Cards to Patients and Physicians by Pharmaceutical Companies
5. A Study on the Health and Economic Burden of Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) in the Philippines
Please find attached the different terms of reference provided by DOH-PD. Please be advised that the objectives stated in the terms of reference remain, but the researcher has the option to provide modifications in the methodology stated in the TOR to increase the rigor of the study’s research design.
You may submit your one-page summary proposals and updated curriculum vitae, through the Project Officer, Ms. Dorabelle Tolentino via dorabelletolentino@gmail.com until Friday, July 8, 2016. One-page summary proposals have no specific format, but please provide in-depth description of the research design, including sampling, methods, study sites and sample population, work plan schedule, and if possible, a proposed budget.
