Call for Proposals – PhilHealth STUDIES Project
The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) and the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) are inviting researchers to submit project proposals to undertake the following research topics:
1. 2020 PhilHealth Support Value for Inpatient Care
2. Development of PhilHealth Share Ratio Study

The PhilHealth STUDIES project, which stands for “Supporting the Thrust for Universal Health Care through Data, Information, and Knowledge Exchange Systems,” is a collaborative grant management project between the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation and the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development. This initiative aims to provide funding for research projects focusing on the development of evidence-based policy recommendations on PhilHealth programs and services.
Who may apply?
Filipinos with at least a Master’s Degree in a relevant field, have proven research competence/track record, and are employed in universities/colleges, research agencies/institutes, hospitals, and other health-related agencies are eligible to apply for the research grant.
Requirements
We encourage interested parties to submit their proposals via email to philhealthstudies@pchrd.dost.gov.ph and attach the following documents by February 21, 2022:
