Are you looking for ways to shake off your stress while learning funky moves from well-known dance schools in Manila, for free?
Hataw Agham, a free dance school hosted by the Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) is coming to the National Science and Technology Week (NSTW) on July 20, 2019 at the Main Stage, World Trade Center, Pasay City!
Being actively involved in dance activities are proven to positively affect one’s mental and physical health according to multiple studies. Researchers also found out that dancing improves one’s learning process and memory, aside from strengthening the body.
Expected to attend this year’s Hataw Agham are students from various high schools and colleges, as well as learners from Alternative Learning System (ALS). The program will include routine-instructed dance fitness or “dance school” and lecture on the benefits of dancing for mental and physical health. Demonstration session of various dance routines will be led by dance instructors from Dancehall Manila, School of Goodlock, and Indayog. Interested participants may register through this link.
